Training “Applications of Quantitative Data Analysis Methods” took place from March to May 2022
KTU FSSAH Data Analysis and Archiving (DAtA) Centre carried out 40 academic hours of methodological training, “Application of Quantitative Data Analysis Methods” in March-May 2022, which was conducted by Kaunas University of Technology scientists Dr. Vytautas Janilionis, Dr. Vaidas Morkevičius, Dr. Inga Popovaitė, and Dr. Rimantas Vosylis.
The aim of this course was to provide participants with knowledge of quantitative data analysis methods enabling them to utilize it in their own research. The course develops skills to understand sampling methods, to understand and implement descriptive statistics, inferential statistics and statistical testing, linear and logistic regression, path analysis and structural equation modelling, time-series analysis.
The training was aimed at a targeted group of staff from the National Education Agency and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport.
The training was carried out within the project implemented by the National Education Agency “Expansion of Information Systems and Registers for Vocational Training and Lifelong Learning” (project code 09.4.1-ESFA-V-713-02-0001), which is financed by the European Union Structural Funds.
