On April 8th, 2025 LiDA has become a full member of the Global Dataverse Community Consortium (GDCC)

On April 8th, 2025 Lithuanian Data Archive for Social Sciences and Humanities (LiDA) hosted by the Centre for Data Analysis and Archiving (DAtA) of Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) has become a full member of the Global Dataverse Community Consortium (https://www.gdcc.io).

The GDCC is an international organization, which brings together developers from some of the leading data repositories around the globe, and provides a collaborative venue to leverage economies of scale in support of Dataverse repositories around the world.

Membership in the GDCC will strengthen opportunities of LiDA to participate in the interest groups and working groups, pull requests, resources provided through the GDCC GitHub Repositories. It will also allow to more readily receive support on technical and organizational issues through the GDCC Dataverse Repository Installation and Consulting Services, through GDCC support in discussion groups, on Slack, and other channels.
