Training workshop “Social Research Data Management: European Perspectives”

Training will be delivered by dr. Alexandra Stam (wiss Foundation for Research in Social Sciences, FORS, Switzerland); dr. Audronė Telešiėnė (Kaunas University of Technology), dr. Rimanatas Rauleckas (Kaunas University of Technology), dr. Vaidas Morkevičius (Kaunas University of Technology), Ieva Cesevičiūtė (Kaunas University of Technology).
Lithuanian Data Archive for Social Sciences and Humanities (LiDA) and the Center for Data Analysis and Archiving (DAtA Center) of the Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) in collaboration with Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives pan-European Research Infrastructure (CESSDA ERIC) is organizing a workshop “Social Research Data Management: European Perspectives”. The main aim of the workshop is to raise awareness of research data management (RDM) in Lithuania. Since RDM and data management plans are rather new concepts for the Lithuanian research community, the workshop is meant to be a general type introduction to RDM for social scientists. There are three main expectations regarding the workshop:

Duration of training is 8 acad. hours. Training will be done in English.
Training workshop is for researchers and doctoral students, research administrators of higher education institutions, representatives of science policy-making institutions and librarians.
Training workshop will take place at KTU Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts, A. Mickevičiaus str. 37, auditorium 114:

Training workshop is free of charge. After completing the training, participants are issued a certificate.
