The development of information technologies is transforming not only the possibilities of quantitative research methods but also those of qualitative social research. Modern software helps researchers conducting qualitative studies collect information and data, transcribe audio and video recordings, organize materials, and analyze various types of data, including text, images, and audio. One of the leading software packages for this purpose is MAXQDA. In addition to being highly user-friendly (which distinguishes it from many other qualitative data analysis software packages), MAXQDA offers opportunities to integrate quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods and to present analysis results in a variety of ways. This training is intended for researchers who would like to start working with the MAXQDA qualitative data analysis software (more information: MAXQDA). MAXQDA is used worldwide by researchers across different disciplines, as well as by governmental, business, and non-governmental organizations. The training is interactive and focused on developing practical skills. Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to work independently with MAXQDA.
Duration: 8 academic hours.
